Event Details
Furman's exhibition men's basketball game versus Bob Jones, originally slated for November 4, at Timmons Arena, has been moved to Wednesday, November 2, and will be played at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in downtown Greenville.
The preseason tune-up, which will mark the first meeting on the hardwood between the Paladins and Bruins, is slated for a 7 p.m. tip-off. Furman, Greenville and the Southern Conference will play host to the 2017 NCAA Tournament First/Second Round at Bon Secours Wellness Arena on March 17 & 19, and Furman's exhibition contest versus Bob Jones will provide the NCAA with a chance to make a site visit to the facility in advance of the tournament.
Furman opens the 2016-17 regular season on November 11, at Presbyterian. The Paladins return four starters from a 2016 team that posted a 19-16 overall record, 11-7 SoCon mark and reached the second round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.
